Life on a Rickshaw

Beautiful Bangladesh: The Land of Stories and the School of Life.

Never did I imagine that work would bring me to Bangladesh to explore its busy busy streets, its intricately-designed saris, its vibrant people and its exotic and spicy food. But what intrigues me most about Bangladesh whenever I visit are the colorful rickshaws that zoom past you on the streets carrying people from all walks of life, with all sorts of crazy adventures.

Life on a rickshaw may not be easy at all, but these navigators make it seem like the most fun job out there. Not to mention, the most creative one too! These rickshaws challenge one another in being the most vibrant and the most colorful stories on wheels – racing and laughing around town!

Despite the busy sounds of the city, the scorching heat and the intense traffic, these folks smile the trips away and give such character to the streets of Dhaka.

Rickshaws line the streets of Dhaka waiting for the post-office crowd. Amidst the rush and the orchestra of city sounds is a radiant smile as bright and shiny as the colors of Bangladesh.
